The Defenders Unite in Official Netflix Trailer

As we prepare for the premiere of The Defenders this fall, Netflix has released the first official trailer. As if we weren't hyped enough already.

The trailer gives us our first look at the entire team in action. We had previously seen a smattering of images in Entertainment Weekly. But seeing the team work, fight, and move together is something else entirely.

The trailer comes just one day after Marvel and Netflix teased that we would see the return of some characters from Daredevil season 2. Sure enough, Elektra is square in the middle of The Defenders' trailer.

The Defenders will be about Netflix's four Marvel heroes, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, teaming up to fight The Hand. There will surely be some Avengers style growing pains to the team up. But from the looks of the trailer, they'll work everything out just fine.

The Defenders hits Netflix on August 18th.
