What I’ve Been Watching: The Kissing Booth 3. In an unlikely turn of events, The Kissing Booth franchised bounced back after a very brutal second installment. Fun Cross-Over Fact: I saw a video game I’ve been playing in KB3 this week! (No spoilers).
What I’ve Been Reading: Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari. I don’t know if any book has ever done more to change my day-to-day worldview.
What I’ve Been Eating: Football season means a free pass to eat as much chili as I want. And the Cincinnati Bengals returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1988 provides a free pass to eat the best kind of chili there is.
What I’ve Been Playing: Ori and the Blind Forest. This stylistic platformer franchise is destined to become a classic of the genre. And it’s stunning how much of the franchise’s best decisions were there from the very beginning. Fun Cross-Over Fact: I saw Ori in a Netflix Rom-Com this week! (No spoilers).
What I’ve Been Listening To: The Adventure Zone: Eathersea - Episode 27. I’ve been listening to this show for a long time. I’ve heard great episodes. I’ve listened to bad episodes. This one might’ve been the best.

If you’ve got some extra cash this week, I hope you’ll consider donating to the Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit that produces groundbreaking reports, an award-winning calendar, and short films that explore our nation's history of racial injustice. Or give a copy of Art Spiegelman’s Maus to a teenager you know. And if you enjoy what we make here, I hope you’ll share it with a friend or subscribe.
