Buyer's Guide: Everything Everywhere All At Once
Everything Everywhere All At Once has taken the film world (several worlds, probably) by storm in 2022. On track to become A24’s biggest hit ever, The Daniels’ low-budget spin on family drama across the multiverse stars Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Ke Huy Quan, and comes to physical home media on Tuesday, July 5th.

What I’ve Been Watching: The folks over at Amazon Prime have introduced me to a new reality dating show called The One That Got Away. From the official description: “Six people searching for their soulmates are given the chance to explore a lifetime of missed connections as one by one, people from their pasts enter through "The Portal" to surprise them and take their shot at love.” Un 👏 Hinged 👏
What I’ve Been Reading: In anticipation of Thor: Love and Thunder I’ve been re-reading Jason Aaron’s Thor run, which the movie is largely based on. It’s always been one of my favorite modern comic book arcs and I’m so happy for an excuse to revisit it.
What I’ve Been Eating: I got my hands on the Bob’s Burgers cookbook this week! So you know I’m spending the Summer grilling up some incredibly punny burgers.
What I’ve Been Playing: Maggie and I tried out our newest board game, Décorum. It’s a game about trying to decorate a house while your housemate’s only feedback is something like “I love that” or “Ew, I hate it.” All the passive aggressive fun of a room mate with none of the bills!
What I’ve Been Listening To: I have two ears and a soul so I’ve just been listening to BREAK MY SOUL on repeat until the rest of Beyoncé’s new album, RENAISSANCE comes out at the end of this month.
